La Jagua Water Project

La Jagua Water Project

La Jagua is the other community that has shown incredible drive and dedication to improving their community (if you read the El Tigre Water Project description I state: “…as a volunteer in Sabanagrande my goal was to find at least two communities that needed a water system but better yet, wanted a water system and were willing to work for it.”).

Similarly to my other project this community has gone above and beyond to demonstrate their desire for a water system. We have also worked together on a topographic survey and I recently finished a design for their water system. I currently do not have a project proposal in English but I am working on it and hope to have it finished soon. However, if you are interested in more information on this community I have a PowerPoint with music that I will link when the internet is more cooperative called: “The Search for Water in La Jagua.” If you saw the El Tigre Water Project PowerPoint you will see that much of the facts are the same as these communities are only a couple of miles apart from one another. However I respect and care for this community as much as the other. I encourage you to take a look at the PowerPoint show and if you are interested in helping me find resources or contacts to help this community please let me know.

Sincerely,

Rebecca J Williams
